You can create and assign labels to specific properties within any project in Landchecker. Labels help you stay organised and make your workflow smoother, allowing you to categorise and track your property portfolio more precisely.
Add labels to a project
To add labels to properties in a project, follow these steps:
Access your Projects by clicking on your profile in the navigation bar and selecting Projects in the drop-down options. Then click on the project name.
Hover over the specific property where you want to add a label and click +Add Label to view the Labels dropdown.
Click +Create Label, type a label name, and press Enter on your keyboard to save it. You can add a maximum of 20 labels per property.
Edit a label's colour
To edit the colour of a label, follow these steps:
Click the three-dot menu beside the label name and select Edit.
Click the circle marker to open the colour gradient tool.
Choose your colour using one of these three methods:
Choose a custom shade from the gradient tool
Manually enter a hex code
Select one of the standard colours
Remove a label from a property
To remove a label from a specific property, click on the label and untick the checkbox beside the label name.
Delete a label
To delete a label permanently, select the label name, click the three-dot menu, and select Delete.
Share label edits with team members
If you have shared the project with other team members, any label edits you make will also be visible to them when they open the project.
Add labels directly from the map
You can add labels directly from the map view to avoid navigating away from the map. To add a label from the map, follow these steps:
In map view, hover over the layers menu on the left-hand side and click on Projects. Then select the active project you want to edit.
Click the three-dot menu beside the property address and select Add Label to view the Labels dropdown.
Click +Create Label to generate a new label.
Edit or delete labels from the map
To edit or delete a label directly from the map, click the three-dot menu beside the property address and select Edit or Delete.
When editing a label, you can update both the text and the colour. Press Enter on your keyboard to save your changes.

Adding labels to projects requires an Advanced plan. Upgrade to Advanced to access this feature.
