How to Complete a Dealing Search in Tasmania

A dealing is a legal instrument that records information affecting a property's use or ownership. Tasmanian dealings include:

How to Purchase a TAS Dealing Document

To order a Tasmanian Dealing, you'll need the dealing number. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to Standard Searches

  1. Click Document Searches in the navigation bar

  2. Select the Standard Searches tab

  3. Choose State - TAS

  4. Click Next

Step 2: Enter Dealing Details

  1. Add a Job Reference (optional but recommended for tracking)

  2. Click TAS Dealing Search to expand the dropdown

  3. Enter the dealing number

  4. Click +Add to Cart

Step 3: Complete Purchase

  1. Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar

  2. Choose View Cart to review or Purchase to buy immediately

  3. If you selected View Cart, verify your order and click Go To Checkout

  4. Select your preferred Delivery Method and Payment Method

  5. Click Buy

Delivery Options

Choose how you'd like to receive your dealing document:

  • Separate emails for each item - Best when ordering multiple documents with different delivery times

  • One email with all items - Receive all documents together once fulfilled

  • In-app notifications only - No email; download from Order Manager

Where to Find Your Dealing Number

Dealing numbers are typically found on:

  • Title Search documents (listed under registered interests)

  • Property certificates

  • Conveyancing documents

Document Delivery Times

Where to Find Your Documents

After purchase, your dealing documents are available in:

  • Your email (depending on delivery method selected)

  • Your Order Manager (accessible from your account menu)
