This article explains how to purchase Title Searches and Folio Plans for Tasmanian properties through Landchecker.
What Documents Are Available?
Title Search (Folio Text) contains:
Folio details and land description
Current registered owner's name
Registered interests (mortgages, caveats, easements)
Unregistered dealings
Folio Plan shows:
Survey information and registered plan number
Lot numbers, land areas, and scale
Boundary lengths, bearings, and easements
For strata schemes: lot areas, body corporate details, unit entitlements, and common property
Title Search and Folio Plan Package includes both documents at a discounted rate.
How to Purchase Documents
You can order Tasmanian Title Searches and Folio Plans in two ways:
Method 1: Order from the Map
Search for your property address in the search bar (top left corner of the Map)
Click the Documents tab in the right-hand panel
Add a Job Reference (optional but recommended for tracking)
Select the checkbox next to TAS Title Search, TAS Folio Plan, or TAS Title Search and Folio Plan Package
Click Add selected items to shopping cart
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Choose View Cart to review or Purchase to buy immediately
Confirm your Delivery Method and Payment Method, then click Buy
Method 2: Order Using Title Reference
If you already have the Title Reference number, you can order documents directly without searching for the property address.
Click Document Searches in the navigation bar
Select the Standard Searches tab
Choose State - TAS, then click Next
Select your document type:
TAS Title Search and Folio Plan (Package) for both documents
TAS Title Search for title only
TAS Folio Plan for plan only
Enter the Title Reference number
Click Add to Cart
Click the shopping cart icon to checkout
Delivery Options
Choose how you'd like to receive your documents:
Separate emails for each item - Best when documents have different delivery times
One email with all items - Receive all documents together once fulfilled
In-app notifications only - No email; download from Order Manager
Document Delivery Times
Most Tasmanian documents are delivered within minutes. If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, check our help article on following up late documents.
Where to Find Your Documents
After purchase, your documents are available in:
Your email (depending on delivery method selected)
Your Order Manager (accessible from your account menu)
