You can purchase South Australian title searches through Landchecker using three different methods. All methods provide quick, reliable access to digital title information for properties in South Australia.
What is an SA Title Search?
A South Australian title search provides current ownership details and registered dealings for a property. The document displays the legal owner, lot, and plan information, as well as any encumbrances, such as mortgages, easements, or caveats, registered against the title.
Three Ways to Purchase an SA Title in Landchecker
You can purchase SA titles through:
The Landchecker map by searching for a property address
Document Searches under the Title Search tab
Document Searches under the Standard Searches tab
Choose the method that works best for your workflow. All three methods deliver the same title document.
Method 1: Purchase from the Landchecker Map
This method works well when you're already viewing a property on the map or searching by property address.
Enter the property address in the search bar at the top left corner of the map
Click on the property to open the information panel on the right side
Select the Documents tab in the information panel
Enter your Job Reference
Tick the checkbox next to SA Title
Click Add selected items to shopping cart
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Select View Cart to review your order, or Purchase to proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, review your order details and click Go To Checkout
Confirm your Delivery Method and Payment Method selections
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Your SA title will be delivered to your email and available in your Order Manager once processing is complete.
Method 2: Purchase via Title Search
This method enables you to search by various property identifiers, including address, lot/plan number, or title reference.
Click Document Searches in the top navigation bar
Select the Title Search tab
Enter your Job Reference
Choose SA as your state, then click Next
Select a search identifier from the dropdown menu and click Search
Tick the checkbox next to SA Title
Click Add selected items to shopping cart
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Select View Cart to review your order, or Purchase to proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, review your order details and click Go To Checkout
Confirm your Delivery Method and Payment Method selections
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Your SA title will be delivered to your email and available in your Order Manager once processing is complete.
Method 3: Purchase via Standard Searches
This method works best when you already know the exact title reference number.
Click Document Searches in the top navigation bar
Select the Standard Searches tab
Choose SA as your state, then click Next
Enter your Job Reference
Click on SA Title to expand the search options
Enter the Title Identifier in the format CT5685/463 (Certificate of Title number followed by volume/folio)
Click +Add to Cart
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Select View Cart to review your order, or Purchase to proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, review your order details and click Go To Checkout
Confirm your Delivery Method and Payment Method selections
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Your SA title will be delivered to your email and available in your Order Manager once processing is complete.
Delivery Time and Follow-up
South Australian titles are typically delivered within minutes of purchase. You'll receive a notification in your Landchecker account when the document is ready to download.
If your order isn't delivered within the estimated timeframe, you can follow up on delayed documents by checking your Order Manager or contacting Landchecker support.
