How to set a property radius on the Landchecker map

Search and analyse within a set distance

Written by Airah Oquias

The Radius tool lets you draw a buffer of up to 1,000 metres or 50 kilometres around a selected property. Use it to check planning permits/DAs within a set distance, find nearby listings, or create report images showing proximity to local amenities.

Plan access: Available on all paid plans (Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise).

How do I add a radius around a property?

  1. Search for a property using the search bar at the top left of the map.

  2. In the information panel on the left-hand side, scroll down and click Radius.

  3. Set your buffer distance by typing a number into the field or dragging the orange circle on the map.

  4. To switch between metres and kilometres, click the m (shown in red) next to the buffer distance field.

The radius will update on the map as you adjust the distance.

Can I switch between metres and kilometres?

Yes. Click the m label in red next to the buffer distance field to toggle between metres (up to 1,000 m) and kilometres (up to 50 km).
