You can set different unit measurements for distance and area in the Drawing Tools Settings. Any changes you make will apply to all shapes and lines currently displayed on the map.

To change the distance unit in Drawing Tools:
Click the three dots menu in the Tools panel
Select Settings
Under Distance, select your preferred unit:
