The Map Pin Tool lets you mark locations by purpose — sites of interest, nearby amenities, or properties for sale within a designated area. You can customise pin icons and colours, rename individual pins, and delete them one at a time or in bulk.
Adding pin markers is available on the Advanced plan. Bulk deleting pins requires an Advanced or Enterprise plan.
How do I add a map pin?
To add a map pin, select the Map Pin Tool from the toolbar and click on the map where you want the pin to appear.
Search for a property using the address search bar.
Click the Map Pin Tool icon on the right-hand side toolbar.
Click on the map where you want to place the pin.
To reposition the pin, drag and drop it to a new location.
You can use map pins alongside the Comparable Sales feature and planning layers in the left-hand panel to speed up site assessments.
How do I customise a map pin?
To customise a pin, select your preferred icon and colour from the Tools panel after placing the pin on the map.
In the left-hand side Tools panel, choose a pin marker icon. You can select from the default map pin designs or choose an icon for establishments, transportation, construction, or nature.
Click the Fill section to change the pin colour.
How do I rename a map pin?
To rename a map pin, use the three-dot menu next to the pin layer in the Tools panel.
Hover over the map pin layer you want to rename.
Click the three-dot menu beside the pin name.
Select Rename.
Type the new name.
Press Enter to save.
How do I delete a map pin?
To delete a single pin, use the three-dot menu next to the pin layer in the Tools panel.
Hover over the map pin layer in the left-hand side Tools panel.
Click the three-dot menu beside the pin name.
Select Delete.
How do I bulk delete map pins?
Bulk deleting pins is available on the Advanced and Enterprise plans.
Click the three-dot menu in the Tools panel and select Bulk Selection.
Tick the checkbox next to each pin you want to delete. Click Select All to choose every pin on the map.
Click the three-dot menu again and select Delete.
