If you accidentally used the wrong email address or misspelled your email when signing up for Landchecker, you can fix this issue by either creating a new account or updating your existing account details.
Who this article is for
This guide is for Landchecker users who entered an incorrect email address during signup and need to correct it.
Two ways to fix an incorrect email address
The solution depends on whether you misspelled your email or used a different email address that you still have access to.
If you misspelled your email address
When you misspell your email address during signup, you won't be able to access the account because you can't receive the verification email. In this case, you need to create a new account with the correct email address.
Go to the Landchecker signup page
Create a new account using your correct email address
Complete the verification process
If you used the wrong email but can still access the account
If you used a different email address that you still have access to, you can update your email address in your account settings.
Follow these steps to change your email address:
Log in to your account: Go to Landchecker and log in using your current email address
Access your account settings: Click on your Profile in the top right corner of the navigation bar, then select My Account
Open Account Details: Click on the Account Details tab (this appears as the first tab under My Account)
Update your email: Enter your new email address in the email field and click Update
Verify your new email: Check your inbox for the verification email and click the Verify Email Address button to confirm your new email
Important: Verify your email within 24 hours
The verification link in your email will expire after 24 hours, so make sure you verify your new email address as soon as you receive it. If the link expires, you'll need to update your email address again to receive a new verification link.
