Step 4: Receive Your ASIC Document

The delivery time for ASIC documents varies depending on which document type you ordered. Depending on the delivery method you chose, Landchecker will email you when your document is ready and upload it to your Order Manager.

Who Uses ASIC Searches

ASIC searches are commonly used by:

  • Property developers conducting due diligence on companies

  • Legal professionals verifying company details for contracts and settlements

  • Real estate agents checking vendor company information

  • Conveyancers confirming company ownership of properties

  • Accountants and financial advisors researching business entities

Understanding ASIC Search Results

ASIC extracts typically include company registration details, current and former company officers, registered addresses, company status (such as active or deregistered), and the company's Australian Company Number (ACN).

Historical extracts show how company details have changed over time, including changes to company officers, registered addresses, and company name changes.

Relational extracts display connections between companies and their directors, showing other companies where the same people hold officer positions.
