How to purchase ASIC documents on Landchecker

Search and purchase ASIC company documents using ABN, ACN or business name

Written by Airah Oquias

You can search for and purchase copies of documents that companies have lodged with ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission). ASIC document searches show what documents a company has filed with the regulator, and you can order copies of specific documents you need.

What are ASIC Documents

ASIC documents are official records that companies must lodge with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. These documents include annual returns, financial statements, changes to company details, notifications of company officer appointments or resignations, and other regulatory filings required under Australian corporate law.

How to Search For and Purchase ASIC Documents

You can search for ASIC documents using a company name, ABN (Australian Business Number), ACN (Australian Company Number), ARBN (Australian Registered Body Number), or ARSN (Australian Registered Scheme Number).

Step 1: Start Your Document Search

Click Document Searches in the top navigation bar, then select Company Search.

Enter the organisation name or number (ABN, ACN, ARBN, or ARSN) in the search box and click Search.

Landchecker will display a list of companies matching your search criteria. Select the correct company from the list.

Step 3: Select Documents to Purchase

Tick the checkbox next to each ASIC document you want to purchase, then click Add selected items to shopping cart.

Step 4: Review and Checkout

Click the shopping cart icon in the top right navigation bar to proceed to checkout.

You can select View Cart to review your order before purchasing, or click Purchase to proceed directly to payment.

If you select View Cart, check your document selections and click Go To Checkout when ready.

Step 5: Choose Delivery and Payment Options

Scroll down to select your preferred delivery method and payment method, then click Buy.

Delivery Method Options

Landchecker offers three delivery methods for ASIC documents:

  • Send a separate email for each order item – You will receive individual emails as each document becomes available. This option works best for orders containing multiple documents with different estimated delivery times, so you can access documents as soon as they are ready rather than waiting for all documents to be fulfilled.

  • Send one email including all order items – You will receive a single email with all documents attached once every document in your order has been fulfilled. This option works best when you want all documents delivered together in one email.

  • Send no email and notify me for each order item with an in-app notification – You will not receive email notifications. Instead, you will receive in-app notifications as documents become ready, and you can download your fulfilled documents from your Order Manager at any time.

When will I Receive My ASIC Documents

The delivery time for ASIC documents varies depending on which documents you ordered and how quickly ASIC processes the request. Landchecker will notify you according to your selected delivery method when your documents are ready.

If your ASIC documents are not delivered within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout, you can follow up using the live in-app chat box in the platform.
