Once you have created a consolidated site in Landchecker, you can convert each parcel into a reusable shape and save it in your tools library. This feature allows you to reference the same site area across different projects without having to recreate it each time.
What Does Converting to Shapes Mean?
Converting parcels to shapes takes the property boundaries from your consolidated site and saves them as drawing objects in your tools library. These shapes can then be:
Reused in other projects
Duplicated for different scenarios
Modified or annotated as needed
Moved or repositioned on the map
The original consolidated site remains intact on your map, so you can continue to access the consolidated site information and reports.
Why Convert Consolidated Sites to Shapes?
Converting consolidated sites to shapes is useful for property professionals including town planners, architects and property developers because it:
Saves Time
You don't need to manually recreate the same property boundaries for every assessment or project.
Enables Reuse
Use the same site boundaries across multiple projects or scenarios without starting from scratch.
Supports Flexibility
Modify, duplicate or rearrange shapes as needed for different planning purposes.
Maintains Accuracy
Preserve exact property boundaries without redrawing, ensuring consistency across your work.

Generate consolidated site reports
Remain linked to property information
Converted Shapes
Saved as drawing objects in the tools library
Can be reused across projects
Can be modified, duplicated and moved
Are independent of property data updates
Both serve different purposes and can be used together in your workflow.
