How to show or hide the bounding box

Toggle the bounding box display on or off while using Draw Mode

Written by Airah Oquias

When you draw a polygon, rectangle, line, or circle on the Landchecker map, you may see a light rectangular border appear around your shape. This is the bounding box — it outlines the rectangular area that contains your completed shape or measurement.

You can show or hide the bounding box at any time while in Draw Mode.

How do I remove the bounding box after drawing a shape?

To hide the bounding box in Draw Mode:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the Tools panel

  2. Select Settings from the menu

  3. Uncheck the 'Show bounding box' checkbox to hide the bounding box

The bounding box will no longer appear around your shapes.
