Two Ways to Order an ACT Title Search
You can purchase an ACT Title Search through Landchecker in two ways: directly from the Map view or through the Document Searches page.
Method 1: Order an ACT Title from the Map
Use this method when you know the property address or parcel details.
Step 1: Search for the Property
Enter the property address in the search bar located at the top left corner of the Map, under the Landchecker logo.
Step 2: Select the ACT Title Search Document
Click the Documents tab in the right-hand side panel
Enter your Job Reference
Tick the checkbox beside ACT Title Search
Click Add item to cart
Step 3: Review and Purchase
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Choose one of these options:
View Cart - Review your order details before purchasing
Purchase - Proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, verify your order is correct and click Go To Checkout
Step 4: Complete Your Order
Select your preferred Delivery Method (see options below)
Select your Payment Method
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Method 2: Order an ACT Title Using Volume/Folio
Use this method when you already have the Volume/Folio number for the property. This saves time because you don't need to search for the property address first.
Step 1: Access Document Searches
Navigate to Document Searches in the top navigation bar, then select the Standard Searches tab.
Step 2: Select Australian Capital Territory
Choose State - ACT from the dropdown menu and click Next.
Step 3: Enter Volume/Folio Details
Enter your Job Reference
Click ACT Title Search under the list of Products
Enter the Volume/Folio number
Click +Add to Cart
Step 4: Complete Your Purchase
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar to review your order and proceed to checkout.
Alternative: Order Using Property Address
If you don't have the Volume/Folio number, you can enter the full property address instead when ordering through Document Searches.
Enter the complete property address including the suburb and postcode in the textbox for ACT Title Search
Click +Add to Cart and proceed to checkout

Delivery Method Options
You can choose how you receive your ACT Title Search:
Send a separate email for each order item
Use this option when ordering multiple documents with different estimated delivery times. You will receive each document as soon as it becomes available.
Send one email including all order items
Use this option to receive all documents together in a single email once all items in your order are ready.
Send no email and notify me for each order item with an in-app notification
Use this option if you prefer not to receive emails. You can download your documents directly from your Order Manager once they are fulfilled.
Estimated Delivery Time
ACT Title Searches are typically delivered within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout. Delivery times vary depending on document availability from the ACT land registry (Access Canberra).
If your order has not been delivered within the estimated timeframe, you can follow up on delayed documents through your Order Manager.

Accessing Your Ordered Documents
All purchased documents are available in your Order Manager, which you can access from your Landchecker account. Documents remain in your Order Manager for future reference even after they have been delivered via email.
