Search for any property or parcel on the Landchecker map using an address, lot/plan number or coordinates.

How do I search for a property by address?

Searching by address is the most common method. Enter the unit or street number, street name, suburb, state and postcode into the address search bar on the map, then press Enter on your keyboard to run the search. You can also paste an address directly into the search bar.

How do I search by lot/plan number?

You can search using lot/plan details by typing or pasting them directly into the address search bar, then pressing Enter. This method is particularly useful for new developments that do not yet have a registered address.

If your lot/plan search is not returning results, try entering the plan number only, without the lot number. For example, if you are searching for Lot 65 DP31209, try entering DP31209 instead of 65 DP31209. This will return a list of suggested results showing all lots associated with that plan for you to choose from.

How do I search by coordinates?

You can search using either of the following coordinate formats:

  • Decimal degrees (DD): for example, -37.8062364, 144.9752861

  • Degrees, minutes, seconds (DMS): for example, 37°42'52.94" S, 144°40'51.00" E

Enter or paste the coordinates into the address search bar and press Enter. Note that coordinate searches do not appear in your previous searches history, but you can re-enter them at any time.

If you need to find coordinates for a property, you can do so in Google Maps:

  1. Open Google Maps and search for the address.

  2. Right-click on the red pin above the location.

  3. Left-click the coordinates shown to copy them.

  4. Paste them into the Landchecker address search bar and press Enter.

How do I access my previous searches?

Your recent property searches appear below the address search bar automatically. There are two ways to browse through them:

  • Scroll through the list using your mouse or trackpad.

  • Use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate the list.

Highlight the address you want and press Enter to return to that location on the map.
