When a Victorian property has multiple titles or accessory lots, you can submit a single application in Landchecker by entering all Volume/Folio numbers together. This ensures all relevant titles are included in your order while avoiding duplicate Land Index fees.
What are Multiple Titles and Accessory Lots?
Multiple Titles
Some properties in Victoria are registered under more than one certificate of title. This commonly occurs when:
A property spans multiple land parcels
A property has been partially subdivided
Additional land has been purchased and added to an existing property
Accessory Lots
Accessory lots (also called accessory units) are separate titles associated with a primary property, such as:
Car park spaces in apartment buildings
Storage units
Common property in strata developments
When ordering certificates for properties with multiple titles or accessory lots, you need to include all relevant Volume/Folio numbers to receive complete information.
