You can order a QLD Plan through Landchecker to view a surveyed diagram showing property boundaries, dimensions and other details. Landchecker allows you to purchase plans digitally without requiring a paid subscription.
What is a QLD Plan?
A QLD Plan (also known as a copy of plan or survey plan) provides a visual representation of a property's boundaries and features in Queensland. The plan document includes:
Lot boundaries and dimensions
Property measurements
Easements
Access points
Survey marks
Other registered interests shown on the plan
A copy of plan helps you understand the physical characteristics and legal boundaries of a property in Queensland.
Three Ways to Order a QLD Plan
You can purchase a QLD Plan through Landchecker in three ways: from the Map view, through the Title Searches page, or through the Standard Searches page.
Method 1: Order a QLD Plan from the Map
Use this method when you know the property address.
Step 1: Search for the Property
Enter the property address in the search bar located at the top left corner of the Map, under the Landchecker logo.
Step 2: Select the QLD Plan Document
Click the Documents tab in the right-hand side panel
Enter your Job Reference
Tick the checkbox beside QLD Plan
Click Add item to cart
Step 3: Review and Purchase
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Choose one of these options:
View Cart - Review your order details before purchasing
Purchase - Proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, verify your order is correct and click Go To Checkout.
Step 4: Complete Your Order
Select your preferred Delivery Method (see options below)
Select your Payment Method
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Method 2: Order a QLD Plan Through Title Searches
Use this method to search by address or lot/plan details.
Step 1: Access Title Searches
Navigate to Document Searches in the top navigation bar. The title search tab appears as the first option under Document Searches.
Step 2: Select Queensland
Choose State - QLD from the dropdown menu and click Next.
Step 3: Enter Job Reference
Enter your Job Reference.
Step 4: Choose Your Search Method
Select the property identifier you wish to search by:
Address - Use when you know the property address
Lot/Plan - Use when you have the lot and plan number
Then click Search.
Step 5: Select the Plan and Add to Cart
Tick the checkbox beside QLD Plan
Click Add selected items to shopping cart
Step 6: Complete Your Purchase
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Choose View Cart to review your order or Purchase to proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, verify your order is correct and click Go To Checkout
Select your preferred Delivery Method and Payment Method
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Method 3: Order a QLD Plan Through Standard Searches
Use this method when you have the plan number.
Step 1: Access Standard Searches
Navigate to Document Searches in the top navigation bar, then select the standard searches tab.
Step 2: Select Queensland
Choose State - QLD from the dropdown menu and click Next.
Step 3: Enter Plan Details
Enter your Job Reference
Click QLD Plan to expand the dropdown
Enter the Plan Number in the textbox (for example, RP132426)
To order multiple plans at once: Enter multiple plan numbers separated by commas (for example, RP132426, SP123456, BUP789012)
Click +Add to Cart
Your order will be automatically added to your shopping cart.
Step 4: Complete Your Purchase
Click the shopping cart icon in the navigation bar
Choose View Cart to review your order or Purchase to proceed directly to checkout
If you selected View Cart, verify your order is correct and click Go To Checkout
Select your preferred Delivery Method and Payment Method
Click Buy to complete your purchase
Delivery Method Options
You can choose how you receive your QLD Plan:
Send a separate email for each order item
Use this option when ordering multiple documents with different estimated delivery times. You will receive each document as soon as it becomes available.
Send one email including all order items
Use this option to receive all documents together in a single email once all items in your order are ready.
Send no email and notify me for each order item with an in-app notification
Use this option if you prefer not to receive emails. You can download your documents directly from your Order Manager once they are fulfilled.
Estimated Delivery Time
QLD Plans are typically delivered within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout. Most Queensland plans are available for immediate download after purchase.
Delivery times may vary depending on document availability from Titles Queensland.

The plan number for a Queensland property can be found on:
Title documents
Previous survey plans
Property contracts
Council documents
Plan numbers in Queensland typically include a prefix such as RP (Registered Plan), SP (Survey Plan), or BUP (Building Units Plan) followed by numbers.
Accessing Your Ordered Documents
All purchased documents are available in your Order Manager, which you can access from your Landchecker account. Documents remain in your Order Manager for future reference even after they have been delivered via email.
